The 2018 B&W Global Parts and Service Training and Open House was a huge success for B&W and PowerQuip! The two-day event was attended by 75 customers from 5 Western states. These customers, along with our PowerQuip sales team, attended training seminars, product demonstrations and a tour of the B&W Salt Lake Service Center. During the Service Center visit, they were able to see roll wheel rebuilds in process and see the large inventory on hand, including a number of customer’s Assured Stock Inventory. The customers were able to spend time meeting our Service Center staff and were introduced to the new B&W tube bender.
Prior to the event, PowerQuip invited customers and the B&W team to stop by the local PowerQuip office for lunch and also hosted a golf outing that afternoon. We had a great turnout and our Inside Sales team was able to meet customers from several plants. We have received feedback from a number of our customers letting us know how grateful they were to attend the event. This was a valuable educational and networking opportunity for all those involved!
